Seeking Committee Leaders

The FIT Team is looking for a leader to handle emails and another leader to handle making personal calls to interested women.

FIT is an Administration Team that focuses on bringing women into the Christ-centered community of JANES! You will be able to volunteer at your own pace and around your busy schedule.

The FIT team makes sure all new women at Bay Area Fellowship receive information on how to get plugged into our women's ministry. This team attends membership class to welcome and pass out fun gift bags, mails out welcome notes and JANES brochures, e-mails information, and places follow up phone calls to make sure all questions have been answered regarding JANES

New See Jane Serve Leader

I am so thankful and excited to announce that Connie Ramirez is our new See Jane Serve Team Leader. Connie has been working very hard over the last couple of months to help me and our team get Janes kicked off for Fall 2009! She has already proven herself to be a faithful, diligent, humble and loving servant to the Lord and Bay Area Fellowship girls! I am so thankful that God brought her to us at just the right time and in answer to our prayers. Contact Connie if you would like to join her team especially if you are gifted in the areas of hospitality, administration and service. God is at work doing some big things in our church right now - 6 new campuses in 6 months - wow! We can be a help to our church staff by assisting them with their growing responsibilities in these exciting days!

Thank You, Mandy!

I want to let you know that Mandy Ward, our amazing Administrative Team Leader had to step down from her position last month due to new work responsibilities God has provided for her. I will miss her so much, but am thankful that she was such an amazing team-builder, because the girls that served with her are pressing on in fabulous ministries even after she stepped down - the mark of a great leader! Thank you, Mandy for all of your help and I pray for God's sweetest blessing on your new adventure!

See Jane Serve

On May 17th, Debbie Bendele and Mandy Ward handed out welcome bags to all the ladies who attended Membership Class 101. If you missed it, the next Membership Class will be held June 14th.

Media Team Leader
We are excited to have Nikol Markert stepping into the role of Media Team Leader for JANES. Some of Nikol's responsibilities will include sending out the monthly JANES newsletter and creating JANES brochures, flyers, magazines, etc. What a blessing it is to have her join our team. Nikol, you did an outstanding job on the June newsletter!

First Impression's Team Leader and Team Members

I am so excited to introduce you to Debbie Bendele, who will serve as the FIT leader. Debbie's responsibilities will be to make sure all new women at Bay Area Fellowship receive information on how to get plugged into our women's ministry. She will also be in charge of attending membership class to welcome and pass out gift bags to each new lady. She will oversee the welcome committee which will contact interested women by mail, e-mail and a phone call. Debbie has her team together and they are ready to get to work! Cheryl Tooley will be mailing a welcome note and a JANES brochure. Cathy Nicosia will be emailing information and Connie Walker will be making follow up phone calls to make sure all questions have been answered regarding JANES. I am so proud of these ladies for stepping up to take on this wonderful task. I am excited to have these girls as a part of the Admin Team!

Office Darlings Team Leader

I am very excited to introduce you to Connie Ramirez, who will serve as the Office Darlings Team Leader. Connie has a heart to serve the woman of Bay Area Fellowship and is gifted in Administration. Connie's responsibilities will be to enlist and organize volunteers to assist the JANES Women's Ministry with office duties to help keep JANES running smoothly. We need JANES office volunteers and would love for you to get involved! You can volunteer at your own pace and around your busy schedule. Most volunteering will take place during BAF office hours which are 8am to 5pm Monday through Thursday. We are so excited to have Mandy Ward stepping into the role of Admin Coordinator. Mandy has a gift for administration and organization along with a heart for women and a passion to serve them. Mandy is praying about God's vision for the A Team and we are looking forward to watching God use her and the girls that serve on this team to bless the women of BAF and our community. Newsletter Editor/Blog Manager

Hey JANES!

We have an opening for a crucial role in the JANES ministry. If you are gifted in the area of creating e-newsletters and managing blogs, we would love to have you on our team! The job consists of creating the monthly Just JANES newsletter as well as overseeing the maintenance of the JANES Blog. Communication is vital in order to keep the women of BAF connected, so if you are passionate about spreading the Word and have expertise in this area, please email DeeDee at bafjanes@yahoo.com.

New JANES' Shirts!

We have new shirts that should be hitting the BAF Bookstore in February. Be looking for them and get them while you can!

Office Darlings!

The JANES Women's Ministry has exploded! And we need help! We need women who would be willing to go to the church office a few times a month to run copies, prepare flyers and do any other office tasks for JANES. You will have an awesome time getting to know the Bay Area Fellowship staff and will work closely with the BAF secretaries.

If you could serve 2-3 times a month on a weekday for a few hours, we would love to have you! Please email the Admin Coordinator, Alisa Wagner, at alisahopewagner@yahoo.com.

New First Impression's Team (FIT) Leader

I would like to formally introduce you to Cheryl Tooley. She will be the FIT Leader for the JANES Women's Ministry at Bay Area Fellowship. She has a heart to serve the women of this church, and we are glad to have her on board!

Cheryl's job is to make sure that all the new women at Bay Area Fellowship receive information on how to get plugged into our women's ministry.

The JANES Women's Ministry desires that every woman gets connected to the Christ-centered community of women at Bay Area!

We want you to get involved! We need FIT volunteers willing serve at the office a few times a month during BAF office hours. Email Cheryl if you would like to be FIT volunteer at cherjerme@yahoo.com.

ADMIN TEAM WAS THERE!

The Admin Team represented at the JANES Expo 2007! We handed out JANES pencils, JANES ministry cards and Atomic Bomb jawbreakers! We got lots of interested JANES wanting to volunteer for this awesome ministry! If you were unable to attend the Expo and would like to be a part of the Admin Team, contact Alisa to get put on the Admin Newsletter!

We still need volunteers for the Welcoming Team. The Welcoming Team volunteers mail and pray over all flyers that get sent to interested BAF women attenders. They welcome and get flyers to the Class 101 women attenders. And they mail and pray over the postcards sent to women who have joined the church!

Also, we still need volunteers for the Public Relation Team. The Public Relation Team volunteers attend citywide Christian events in order to write articles and/or take photos of these events for the BAF JANES Blog site and for the JUST JANES Newsletter. We need women willing to stay current with the happenings of Christian events at our Church and in our community!

JANES Remembrance Bracelets

The JANES Remembrance Bracelets are here! They are hot pink and read: "JANES -- Luke 1:45." These bracelets are a great way to share information about JANES, Bay Area Fellowship and Jesus Christ! They should be in the BAF resource center soon! They will sell fast so get them while you can. *The orange remembrance bracelet is for World Vision.

JANES t-shirts

The JANES t-shirts are here! Look for them in Bay Area Fellowship's resource center. Why not be hip and share the Gospel all at the same time?! Each shirt reads, "Ordinary girl; Extraordinary God!" The JANES logo and JANES verse (Luke 1:45) are located on the back of each shirt. We want as many women wearing the t-shirts as possible to build the Christ-centered community of the JANES Women's Ministry. Also, hot pink JANES remembrance bracelets with Luke 1:45 are coming soon!

Hello my sisters; my JANES!

I wanted to thank you for coming to the Admin blog. Some of you might think that administration is boring (some of it is), but most of it can be such a blessing! We are the first offense to getting women plugged into the JANES Ministry! We help the women who fill out an information card or who attend Class 101 find their place in our wonderful but large church: Bay Area Fellowship! We know how it feels to be overwhelmed by so many people, and we want women to know that God has a place for them.

If you have a heart to help women use their talents and find their niche in God's plan, you have come to the right place. Also, if you are gifted in any administrative area (web design, communications, computers, product development, photography, creative writing, date entry, etc.), we need you! We work hand-in-hand with the other JANES Teams in order to bring ideas and events into fruition. Our mission is to continually build the image of JANES so that our community and the world may know about our ministry and God's awesome love!
